A New Take on Bridal Shoots by Betsy Blue Photography
I love helping artists, creatives and makers brand themselves with beautiful cohesive imagery. And I love meeting engaged couples during the most exciting time to help celebrate and capture their love. Working primarily with makers and brides, I also find beauty in those two worlds colliding. Having the opportunity to mix unique handmade wares and treasures from my clients, into a world of naturally beautiful brides-to-be, can create the most amazing unions, and challenges the boundaries of where each might be headed. In addition, I love offering up some of my bridal accessory client's wares to a fashionable high school senior, or mom glamming it up for her family photos...so much fun comes from that.
Who says a bride can't wear minimalist gold jewelry that wasn't specifically crafted for brides? Why can't a modern bride wear a two piece gown designed for the red carpet? Does a bridal shoot have to look like a bridal shoot, or can it look like a modern minimalist fashion shoot? She who breaks the rules sets my creative heart on fire.
This shoot was about those worlds colliding, and finding some inspiration from unique possibilities. Taking the time to create freely, without boundaries or constraints, allows my mind go to places it normally doesn't have the time to...that in turn stretches all the boundaries when it comes to creating original content for my clients. Branding, commercial, weddings...all of it just gets better.
